Six postdoctoral positions are now available in the Center for Gravitational Experiments and the Key Laboratory of Fundamental Measurements in Physics, Ministry of Education. The successful candidates will involve in the following research topics: (1) Determination of Newtonian gravitational constant G using torsion balance, (2) Test of Newtonian inverse-square law in the micrometer range, (3) Residual disturbance analysis of inertial sensors for space missions, (4) Space laser and laser interferometry, (5) Cold atom physics and its application in gravitational acceleration measurement, (6) Gravity recovery using satellite tracking.
Center for Gravitational Experiments is an unique and the only laboratory that engages in gravitational experiments in China. A strong and active research group conducts research projects concerning precision measurements in Physics and their important applications in various aspects. Applicants must have obtained Ph.D degree and strong background in gravitational experiments, precision measurement or related fields. A good capability of communication and cooperation is also an important criterion as evaluating candidates.
